Add detailed demographics as adgroup criteria not as Audience

Hello,

As per this documentation, to add detailed demographic, one has to create audience which is supported for performance Max and discovery campaigns only. This Audience resource can be attached with Adgroup using criteria

There is no other way documented in Ads api documentation for the same.

But when we check ad console , we can see an option to attach detailed demographic for search campaign as well.

Upon requesting data from ads api , It seems it is attached to adgroup as criteria not as audience. So, Is there any support available in Ads api for the same ?
