Hi,
When I update my library from 15 to 16, I got below error mesage.
But I didn't find any keyword endpoint_template and universe_domain in our program

ERROR: error msg from google ads: unknown keywords: :endpoint_template, :universe_domain

Could you help to explain what the message means?

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

I could see that you are encountering the unknown keywords error while upgrading from v15 to v16. To analyse your issue further, kindly provide us with the complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at your end.

If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java, .Net, PHP, Python, Ruby or Perl to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.

Hi,
There are no logs.
I use Ruby library version 27.0.0
The error happened when I call below code

[12] pry(main)> google_ads_service = client.service.google_ads
ArgumentError: unknown keywords: :endpoint_template, :universe_domain
from /Users/mikefang/.rbenv/versions/3.1.3/lib/ruby/gems/3.1.0/gems/gapic-common-0.20.0/lib/gapic/grpc/service_stub.rb:61:in `initialize'

Is this information enough?

Hi,

We provide support for Google Ads API related concerns only. Since this is a Ruby client library concern, I would suggest  reaching out to the respective client library owner by filing an issue on the issue tracker on the 'Issues' tab of the Ruby client library. As they are more equipped to provide guidance on the Google Ads API client library concerns / inquiries. Hope this helps.
