Hi all

I'm interested in using SSIS to access adwords data. Ideally I'd like to set it up as a data source and query it directly using AWQL as I would any other data source. This would mean I didn't need to use the API to create file extracts and then read those in manually.

Is anyone aware of whether or not this is possible?

Cheers

Hi,

The client libraries do not directly support SSIS, but you may be able to write an adapter/bridge that would allow you to treat the API as a data source. As with any application using the AdWords API, you would still have to be careful about rate limits and following best practices within the adapter.

There may be others on the forum that have additional suggestions/experience with this approach.

Maybe a long shot, but an SSIS package for Analytics does exist (codeplex, other options exist as well). So, if the site has Analytics, and that Analytics account is linked to your AdWords account, this may be an option. Remember you can only get a few AdWords results in Analytics - no bidding, budgets, feed-related stuff etc.

If Analytics isn't an option, maybe its source gives enough pointers to develop it yourself.

Hope this helps.

Hello ,

I am well with using SSIS Google analyticsThis will help to read data from Google Analytics Service without learning complex APIs. Easy to use interface allows you extract large amount of data adjusting parameters such as dimensions, metrics, filters, sortby, date range etc. You can also use inbuilt reports or specify direct query URL to get desired data. I am sharing a link that will be help to do your work . Please Have a look .

Hope It will be Helpful.
