Hi,
I am getting the following exception while running the Offline Conversion logic in C# based application.

InnerException = {"AdWordsApiException: One or more AdWords API errors have occurred. \r\n\r\nThis google click ID could not be decoded.. (Error: OfflineConversionError.UNPARSEABLE_GCLID, FieldPath: operations[0].operand, Trigger: )\r\n\r\n"}

I am testing the offline conversion of a sample Ad click using a test GClid(test). I don't have any Ad link that can provide me the GCLID attribute value for testing. Although I have created many Ads using my account but I could not find a single ad having a GCLID value.

I have also enabled the auto tagging option. I am stuck in the middle as I need some sample GCLIDs to test my PoC.

Please help me here.

Thank you
Regards
Suliman

Hi Suliman,

The error : UNPARSEABLE_GCLID usually occurs when the GCLID used is invalid. Unfortunately, the upload offline conversions cannot be tested using a test gclids. Since the test accounts do not serve ads, you will not be able to test this feature using the test accounts. If you need to test it functionality, you can set up a test campaign with low budget in your production AdWords account and use the gclid from that campaign for testing the offline conversion feed. Please note that to perform any API operations on a production account, you will need to have an approved developer token.

Thanks,
