How to use Google Click Id (gclid) ?

Hello Team,

Is there any way through which we can extract data/info from gclid in AdWords ?

In my application I am able to capture "gclid" as I have enabled Auto-tagging, but I couldn't find a way to use this gclid to extract info from AdWords.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi,

You can download the Click Performance Report via the API to obtain statistics around a GCLID. This report aggregates data at each click level and contains data for both valid and invalid clicks. To get started with AdWords API reports, please refer to this guide. This example in Java explains how to download a report using the API. Same example is available in other client libraries as well. Hello Vishal,

Thanks for your suggestion. It is a possible way of doing it.........but I am more concern about certain specific API (if available) which can be used to get data directly from GCLID instead of using Click Performance Report.

Unfortunately, GCLID information is not available via any of the services and is available in Click Performance Report only. Please feel free to revert if you have additional questions or concerns.
