Any update on new API flow for Display or Performance Max

Does the API support device-level targeting for Performance Max campaigns or the upload of 9:16 image ratios for display campaigns?

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

Please be informed that the 9:16 aspect ratio for display campaigns is not supported via the Google Ads API. As per this help center article, display campaigns with image assets support only the below mentioned aspect ratios:

• Horizontal - 1.91:1 (recommended size 1200 x 628 pixels and min 600 x 314 pixels)
• Logo - 1:1 (recommended size 1200 x 1200 pixels and min 128 x 128 pixels)
• Logo - 4:1 (recommended size 1200 x 300 pixels and min 512 x 128 pixels)
• Square - 1:1 (recommended size 600 x 600 pixels and min 300 x 300 pixels)

I would recommend you refer to the document assets that provides an overview of assets in the Google Ads API. 

Also, Kindly note that device level targeting for performance max campaigns is currently not possible in Google Ads API. I will raise a request for this feature to become available in the Google Ads API. However, I cannot provide a scheduled timeline for its availability in the API. I would recommend you to please follow our blog post and release notes for any future updates regarding this feature.
