How to obtain the global country search rankings for a keyword

Hello team，

We currently have a requirement to query the ranking of searches by a specific keyword in each country.We tried to use Google Keyword Planner to fulfill this requirement, but it seems that this tool can only query the search volume of keywords in a certain country. When the geographical location is selected as global, it can only get an overview of the data, but not the search volume ranking of each country.Is there a better way for the team to do this?Looking forward to your reply.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to Google Ads API support. For getting the historical metrics for keywords in each specific country you can try in our API our Generate Historical Metrics guide. You can make a new keyword plan with a Campaign for each GeoTarget with underlying AdGroups that have the keywords you want to research and then generate historical metrics for each keyword plan. There are code samples from each of our client libraries in this guide that can guide your implementation.
