CPA (Cost-per-Acquisition ) bidding option causes destination URL not to be used (or seen in the UI)

Whenever I change my tracking parameters in the keyword destination URL, the URL is available when I read it back using the AdWords API.  However, I can only see (or use) the keyword destination URL when I change my bidding option from CPA to CPC custom bid mode.  Otherwise, only the ad destination (not the keyword) URL is used and the keyword destination shows up empty in the UI.

 

Is this a bug in AdWords or is there an explanation why this happens?

Hi,

I'd be glad to troubleshoot this issue, but I'll need you to give me an example. The best way is if you provide me with reqestIds of your mutate and get calls. RequestIds are found as part of the response header of every call to the API.

The API works fine.  This is more of a UI issue (empty URL when using CPA mode).  Any suggestions for how to get this to work in the UI or explanations why the URL shows as empty?
