Hello,

I followed the instructions

https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/conversions/upload-clicks

to upload click conversions. This works pretty good for most of the conversions.

But I don't know how to upload multiple gclids for one conversion. Currently I do the attribution myself, but this limited to first and last click.

Thanks for any assistance!

Hi Ole,

Could you elaborate on the "upload multiple gclids for one conversion" concern? If you want to upload multiple conversions, you should use the conversions[] that contain the array of conversions that are being uploaded. Also, you may refer to this documentation for uploading the conversions.

On the other hand, are you instead referring to conversion adjustments? You may provide additional details of the scenario so that our team may better identify the appropriate helpful information.

Hello Yasar,

thanks for your reply.

I'm able to upload multiple conversions or adjust uploaded conversions. I want to upload an array of gclids for one conversion.
Given the following szenario that a customer has clicked on 5 different ads before he made the conversion, I want to upload all the ads he clicked on to google ads.

Otherwise there is no use of data driven attribution when I upload only one gclid per conversion.

Kind Regards!

Hi Ole,

It is not possible to upload multiple GCLIDs for a single click conversion object. However, the data driven attribution model should be able to attribute credit accurately, regardless. For example, ExternalAttributionData field accepts an external_attribution_credit value for a single click contributing to a conversion. Likewise, the data driven model should be able to do this automatically.
