Google's website crawl timing

Hi there, 

Is there any way to know when are the random Google's site crawls happening? 

It seems to happen bi-weekly just when my client has the site down for an hour for building processes and this is causing feed disapprovals in the Merchant Center.

We are thinking of changing the building site and before deciding a time, we would like to know when are these crawls happening to avoid clashing times again.

Any idea anyone?
