Set cpc_bid_micros on campaign level

How can I update a campaign and set the cpc_bid_micros on campaign level. I know how to set it on adwords level but not how to do the same for the campaign aswell..

I am using the ads v14 api.

I understand that you want to update cpc_bid_micros. That said, you may check this link (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/campaigns/bidding/set-bids) for the documentation about setting bids manually. this includes updating bids.

As I mentioned in the opening post, I am quite aware of how to set this at the campaign level and since there are no examples of this in the documentation, I am asking here how to set this at the campaign level via API.

You may refer here (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/samples/update-ad-group) for a sample code on how to update the CPC bid for a given ad group.

Upon checking, I the Campaign (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v14/Campaign) resource does not have a field cpc_bid_micros unlike the AdGroup resource which has the AdGroup.cpc_bid_micros (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v14/AdGroup#cpc_bid_micros) field.

That said, can you share with us the whole Google Ads UI screenshot (without cropping with the CID shown) of the field in the UI you are trying to update via Google Ads API? This is so we can check on our end as well and investigate further. You can provide it via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email address googleadsa...@google.com.
