HeadlinePart3 missing in Ad Performance Report? And confusing Descriptions

Hi,

according to this post, AdWords API v.201809 is supporting the new expanded text ads (3 headlines/2 descriptions):

But I can't find a HeadlinePart3 in the Ad Performance Report v.201809

there is only:

Headline

HeadlinePart1

HeadlinePart2

Is this a mistake in the doc or in the API itself?

Further question:

When it comes to descriptions, I can find:

Description: "The descriptive text of an expanded text ad or responsive display ad."

Description1: "Line 1 description of the Ad."

Description2: "Line 2 description of the Ad."

The latter ones used to contain the descriptions of the old, non extended Ads. Where can I find the new descriptions of the latest (3 headlines/2 descriptions)- version of the expanded text ads?

In addition to your input, for the Expanded Text Ads, the Description 2 and HeadlinePart 3 is currently not returned through the Ad Performance Reports. I have shared this information with the team. I will keep you posted on any further updates regarding this. 

For the Responsive Search Ads, you may refer to the release notes available here for more information. You may also check this reporting guide which illustrates about the fields in the Ad Performance Report.

Headline3 and Desc2 are returned but the names are not consistent.  They are returned under 

ExpandedTextAdHeadlinePart3 and

.. sorry sent prematurely.  The decription field is  ExpandedTextAdDescription2.

That's right. As a correction to my previous response, you may use the ExpandedTextAdDescription2 and ExpandedTextAdHeadlinePart3 fields to pull the data about the Description 2 and Headline part 3 from the Ad Performance Report.

Can I assume that the first two headlines remain "HeadlinePart1" and "HeadlinePart2" whereas the first description remains "Description"? 
I would like to ask you to explain these facts in more detail in the migration guide / release notes, where they are not mentioned at all at the moment.

Column 'ExpandedTextAdDescription2' is not valid for report type AD_PERFORMANCE_REPORT. Double-check your SELECT clause. (file Code.gs, line 37)

The ExpandedTextAdDescription2 field was added in AdWords API v201809. Could you please make sure that you're using this version to generate the reports? If yes, could you share us your Report definition so I can take a look? You can share the details privately via Reply privately to author option.

I was trying in AdWords Scripts. It seems that version of the Ad Performance Report hasn't been updated there but the report documentation shows it's available.

The field has been added in both AdWords API and AdWords Scripts. If you're using AdWords Scripts, you may post your concern on their forum here. They will be able to take a look and assist you on this.

Here's the response from the AdWords Scripts team:

With regards to your question about the 'ExpandedTextAdDescription2' and the 'ExpandedTextAdHeadlinePart3', the current API version that the Google Ads Scripts report is using is v201806 so I am afraid that the said fields are not yet supported since these fields are only available starting v201809.
