Bidding on Shopping Showcase AdGroups

Hi,

Shopping Showcase AdGroups use CPE bidding --

    https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/7316325

but in the API documentation (201802) I cannot find any reference to this. The types of Bids available are CpaBid, CpcBid, CpmBid:

How can I bid on Shopping Showcase AdGroups? Can I use CpcBid or will it return an error?

Hello Charlie, 

The CPE Bidding strategy is currently not supported through the API. For campaign channel type SHOPPING with ad group type as SHOPPING_SHOWCASE_ADS, you will be able to use MANUAL_CPC, NONE bidding strategy. Please check this reference guide for more information.
