Job Description:
This role will be responsible for delivering secure and scalable enterprise-level networking solutions across cloud and on-prem environments. You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic connectivity, security, and data center initiatives for one of Capgemini’s key clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ownership of perimeter networks including B2B, Internet DMZ, Cloud, and Market Exchange connectivity
• Design and implementation of high-performance networking solutions across enterprise data centers and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Storage, Cloud, Compute, etc.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide technical escalation support
• Engineering and delivering solutions using Cisco (Nexus, ASR, ISR), Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto platforms
• Participate in new technology evaluation and product lifecycle
• Engage with vendors and service providers on network architecture and deployment
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in large enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and Ethernet
• Hands-on expertise with firewalls (Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
• Extensive experience with Cisco routing/switching and security products (IOS, NX-OS, IOS-XR)
• Cloud networking experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI)
• Exposure to network security models, encryption techniques, and authentication protocols
• (Preferred) Knowledge of automation tools, GitLab, Terraform, and packet-level analysis
