Hi, we get error MUTATE_NOT_ALLOWED  update asset_group_asset. It likely be we can't remove asset_group_asset. Please help to check it.

Thanks for reaching out to Google Ads API Forum.

With regards to your concern, please note that in Google Ads API perspective we need the complete logs to be able to further investigate. With that being said, can you provide the complete request and response logs with request ID generated as shown in the respective?

Additionally, I would recommend using the latest version of Google Ads, which is version 14 for mutating and retrieving requests. For GoogleAdsService mutates, I recommend referring to this documentation (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v14/GoogleAdsService). For better construction of the request body, I would recommend using the API Explorer. This will help you build and validate your requests, you may access it via this link (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/rest/reference/rest/v14/customers.googleAds/mutate?apix=true). 

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to the author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.

We seem to be facing the same problem, and need to understand why these request are considered not allowed.
