PMax AgeRange & Gender reporting

With SmartShopping campaigns being deprecated and being replaced by PMax we are trying to find how to report on AgeRange & Gender for Pmax campaigns just like we do for SmartShopping. Currently, we are not seeing an obvious way to do that since AgeRange & Gender have AdgroupCriterion attributed resource fields which PMax does not contain since there is no Adgroup in PMax. Is there a different report view we should be hitting or is this something that is still being worked on for the API?

With regards to your concern, "Is there a different report view we should be hitting or is this something that is still being worked on for the API?" for you to get the Gender and the Age range, you may use the campaign_criterion report and include the campaign_criterion.age_range.type for age range type and campaign_criterion.gender.type for gender type.

Thanks for response, but I don't see any metrics for campaign_criterion. I would like to be able to get the Gender & AgeRange report with Metrics for PMax.

Thank you for your response.

Since both the age_range_view and gender_view's resource name fields include an association to the ad_group_id, and due to the restriction of this campaign type and the ad group resource (and its attributes), then it is currently not possible to retrieve performance max campaign statistics using these reports.

If it is currently possible via the Google Ads UI to associate performance max campaigns and these criteria types' statistics, then you may provide to our team the complete screenshot, and your complete use case, so we can then create a feature request, subject for review, for its support in the API's reports

Should the screenshot contain your user / account information, you may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.

hey just wanted to follow up on this issue, is it possible to get age & gender data along with some metrics for PMax campaigns?

I tried the age_range & gender view but not getting data for PMax campaigns.
