Hi,

For conversions with WBRAID or GBRAID, my understanding is that we can supply any unique value as order_id (a UUID for example). Is this right?

Thanks

Hi Jon,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

With regards to your question, kindly note that orderId is the unique order ID (transaction ID) of the conversion, and order_id called transaction_id as well. If the conversion was reported with an order ID specified, that order ID must be used as the identifier here. Conversion Adjustment API the design is to use order_id since enhancements MUST use order ID instead of GCLID date/time pair.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for your reply. I work with Carmela and allow me to assist you here.

To answer your question, could you please tell us what you mean by UUID as our team is not familiar to this?
