Get total adgroups costs per hour

With our team we are trying to obtain the cost of the adgroups in general in relation to the hour, we are currently using the following query

SELECT metrics.cost_micros, segments.hour, ad_group.name FROM ad_group WHERE campaign.status = ENABLED

But we get an answer that we don't understand, at the beginning we have the same adgroup X with the 24 hours cost in each one. But when we change to the next adgroup the hour is always 0, is this because there are no more costs for the following hours? or is there something we are doing wrong?

I really understand your concern, and to further investigate the issue, could you please provide us the complete request and response logs with request ID and request header generated on your end? You can provide it via Reply privately to the author option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email address googleadsa...@google.com. If you haven't enabled the logging yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link. In addition, please provide us also with the full non-cropped and non-redacted screenshot of the UI where we can see the report that you are trying to fetch in the API.
