Hello!

We noticed that we are not getting Unique Cookies information from our campaigns. One example:

A campaign which runs from 01 July to 05 August and shows unique cookies in Google Ads (web) when we filter from 01 July to 02 August but not shows cookies information when filter using the full time of the campaign (01 July to 05 August). We know that if we filter for the last 7 days we only get the information about the first four ones but, in theory, it will return the unique cookies in the date-time range (not empty value).

Another case is similar campaigns which one shows cookies from start to end and the other not.

Why? There is any rule we do not know? We read about how to get unique cookies in the documentation but seems not logic that one campaign shows them and not another similar one (same goal, etc...).

Thanks in advance!

Hi Antonio,

Thank you for reaching out.

It appears that your concern is related to the Google Ads UI. You could open your concern to the Advertiser's Community Forum instead as the product owners are better equipped in assisting you here.

Regards.

Hi!

Thanks but maybe I did not explain correctly, this behavior is the same when we get the performance report from Adwords API. I will post a question in the Advertiser's Community Forum related to this but I need to know why the performance report returns the data wrong when I send the full-time campaign data to it.

As I said, If I do not send the last 3 days of the campaign it returns the data correctly.

Thanks!

Hi Antonio,

The API only mirrors the results generated by the Google Ads UI. If the results appear to be different from the UI, kindly provide the complete report definition and the clientCustomerId used so I could better investigate? Kindly use the reply privately to author option.

If the API results are the same with the Google Ads UI result, this would be best answered by the product team as they would be able to provide better insights on this.
