Cannot retrieve DIsplayUrl parameter from ExpandedTExtAd objects

Hello,

I'm currently working on a project using the api in php version v201809 via this library (38.0.0):

However I recently noticed that when retrieving data from an ExpandedTextAd object the DisplayUrl parameter is null.

I noticed a cautionary note on the doc api, but I don't know if it's related.

Have there been any changes in the api or is it a bug on my side? Do I need to update my library?

Thanks for reaching out. With regards to your concern, you should get data of DisplayUrl using  ExpandedTextAd object. Could you please share the complete detailed request and response logs along with customer id. Please Reply privately to the author so that I can further investigate the issue. You can find information on enabling logging in the ReadMe of your client library.

Hi Ludovic,

Thank you for providing information. I noticed that the you are using incorrect AdGroupId for getting DisplayUrl. This is the reason you will receive null parameter, I would suggest you please use the valid id to retrieve DisplayUrl.

However, I don't see the problem with my AdGroupId.

I just tested on another account and another campaign, I have the right id for my adgroup, in the request and in the response.

Furthermore, the data received corresponds well to the data expected for my ExpandedTextAd. But the DisplayUrl field is missing.

Hi Ludovic,

Thank you for providing information. I noticed that the you are using ad type is expandedtext, so the expanded text ads do not use url, displayUrl, finalAppUrls, or devicePreference setting these fields on an expanded text ad will cause an error. It is expected behavior. Please refer to this guide.
