Requesting input on Similar audience search query and search campaign

As per this https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/12463119?hl=en Google similar audiences are no longer supported. I have few queries regarding this

1. Search query to retrieve similar audience after August 2023 will fail with errors or not return 0 results without any failure?
   
2. What will be the result of this query after August 2023 assuming that name1 and name2 were the valid names of similar audiences?
   SELECT user_list.id, user_list.name, user_list.similar_user_list.seed_user_list FROM user_list WHERE user_list.type = 'SIMILAR' AND user_list.similar_user_list.seed_user_list IN ("name1","name2")
   
3. In the article, there are alternatives of similar audiences for various campaign types. But it does not have any suggestions for the Search campaign type. Could you please let us know what could be the alternative of Similar audience for search campaigns?

>> As per the guide you shared, after August 1, although similar segments will be removed from all ad groups and campaigns, you will continue to have access to historical reporting for similar segments from past campaigns.

What will be the result of this query after August 2023 assuming that name1 and name2 were the valid names of similar audiences?

>> As stated in the above, you will still continue to have access to historical reporting for similar segments from past campaigns. That said, there should no changes to your query and your query should run as usual considering you have these as past records of similar segments.

Could you please let us know what could be the alternative of Similar audience for search campaigns?

>> Upon checking the suggestion for Search campaign is to use Smart Bidding in your campaigns as stated: “If you have been using similar segments on Search or Shopping campaigns and are not using Smart Bidding, you should use Smart Bidding with your campaigns.”
