Hello there. Our team is working closely with google environment overall and adWords ended. About 6 months ago we created a new account and connected it with adWords project. With the previous account we received permanent refresh tokens, but on the new one, we need to create a new token every 7 days.
"A Google Cloud Platform project with an OAuth consent screen configured for an external user type and a publishing status of "Testing" is issued a refresh token expiring in 7 days."
My project is configured for an external user type and a publishing status of "Testing", so a 7-day token seems reasonable. But my old account still receives endless tokens for the same project.
So, my question is: is it possible that I missed something and google can actually issue endless refresh tokens for both my accounts?

Hi Gleb,

Thank you for posting your concern.

If you want to have a refresh token with longer life, then you need to follow this link.

As for this question "is it possible that I missed something and google can actually issue endless refresh tokens for both my accounts?", you may check on your end if its publishing status is in "In production" already. If yes, this means that you have already applied this instruction to that account that makes the life of the refresh token longer.

Thank you for your response! Thank you so much for the answer. My app got the "Testing: status, but one of my accounts receives a long token for this app and the other one restrict to a 7-day token. But it is the same app that is not in production.

Hi Gleb,

Thanks for getting back to us.

I understand that you are seeing different behavior for the other app where one account receives a long token, and another one restricts to a 7-day token. For further clarification and assistance, I would recommend that you may reach out to the Google API console support team via this API Console Help link.
