Hello Team,
I have a few questions regarding YouTube user segments in the Audience Manager:
Does the Google Ads API currently support creating YouTube user segments programmatically, similar to how we can create other audience segments (e.g., website visitors, customer lists)?
Does the API allow retrieving details of existing YouTube user segments (including selected channel/video and actions) created via the UI?
If yes, please share:
The documentation link or example request structure for both create and get operations.
Any restrictions or prerequisites (e.g., permissions, linked YouTube channels) for using these API calls.
If no, please confirm if there is any planned roadmap or alternative method to achieve this functionality.
Thank you,
Amit Tomar

Hi,
Currently, the Google Ads API does not support the programmatic creation of YouTube user segments. However, you can create other types of user lists/segments via the API as mentioned in the API documentation.
To create YouTube segments, you can use the Google Ads UI. For detailed information on creating a data segment with your YouTube users, please refer to the "Use your data segments to advertise on YouTube" help center article.
