RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED (429) Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota).
◉ Too many requests. Retry in 5662 seconds."
I have a feeling this is because sometimes sales leads from different websites will sell at the same time as each other, so the API is triggered at the same time and it doesn't like too many requests within a time period. That's fine. I started just turning the scenarios back on after a little while and it would begin working again. However, now I'm stuck in a loop where when I try and turn our scenarios back on I get the same RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error along with "Retry in x seconds" and the time changes every time. The thing is, I DO wait far longer than the message suggests, but then when I go back to turn the scenario on I get the same thing all over again so I'm stuck in a loop.
What's the best solution for this?
Hi Jamie,
Thank you for reaching us out. I hope that you are doing well today.
The RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error usually occurs when you are sending too many requests in a short period of time. The server throws this error once it detects that your request has exceeded the system frequency limit. With that being said, we would recommend setting up short delays between requests or combining more operations in fewer requests. Please refer to the Best practices guide to optimize the efficiency and performance.
If the error message still exists, please share the complete and recent request and response logs with the request-id so that our team will further investigate this issue. Please provide it via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email address googleadsa...@google.com.
If you have other concerns, please do not hesitate to reply on this thread.
Best,
