Hi
We trying to find which site does a google click id belong.  This is meant for non search related campaigns where google can serve our ad based on relevance.  We have clickid in our system and if we can get site associated with that click id, it solves a major puzzle.
We have looked into click performance report and it does not have the site.

Please let us know if there is any way to get to it.

Appreciate any help in this regard

Hi Venkat,

You can use the CriteriaId and CriteriaParameters fields in Click Performance Report to get the details of the Criterion associated with the click. For placement-targeted campaigns, this will provide the matching placement targeting criteria for the site where your ad was clicked. This information is also available if the following fields:

Thanks Shwetha
Is it possible to get this information for all Campaigns (even though they are not placement targeted).   Currently through the Ad Words UI, we can see the placement information for all campaigns irrespective of targeting and we are trying to kind off replicate that functionality in our system

Hi Venkat,

Could you tell me which tab in the UI you are referring to? The URL report in the UI provides the placements on which your ads appeared. This report maps to the URL Performance Report in the API. Please see this guide for more details on how UI reports map to different API report types.

Hi Shwetha

We have Click id in our system and our plan is, if we can somehow get placement and glcid in a report from ad words, then we can map placement to our internal data by matching on click id.
The Url performance report that you mentioned did not have the click id.   Is there any way we can get performance data at Click id, and placement irrespective of targeting criteria?

Thank you

Hi Venkat,

You could consider using the {placement} and {target} ValueTrack parameters in your FinalUrl, tracking template or custom parameters as shown here. I'm afraid the Gclid and the placement fields are not available in the same report. You could track the placements using the above parameters. This guide describes how ValueTrack parameter map to different report fields. You could then choose the report type suited for your needs.
