Adwords API retuns unknown keywords

We have a client who noticed a keyword that didn't look familiar. Checking the Client Centre we found out they indeed don't have that keyword. We don't know how long this might be the case.

I added 2 screenshots, one shows the result we get from the API and the other the Campaign console of the client where the keyword "Esquad" doesn't exist.

Are we the only ones having this problem or have you heard of this issue before?

Hi,

Could you provide more information about the first screenshot, such as the API request (with sensitive information removed) that you used to retrieve that data?

Also, if you could share the customer ID (xxx-xxx-xxxx) of the account, that would be helpful in our investigation.

Hi Josh,

I'm so sorry for the delay!

The client found out this was a keyword from a removed campaign. 

As the keywords don't get the removed status when their campaign is removed, this is why they were still showing up. ;)
