Hi,

I see you can use the Keyword Planner UI to get a suggested bid for a certain keyword (see here).

Is there a way to get the same information programmatically using the Adwords API?

I was thinking about the Traffic Estimator Service, but it doesn't seem to return this information for a keyword estimate request.

Hi Bikov,

You can use any one of the below services to get suggested bid value for a keyword using AdWords API.

Cheers,

Hi Raghavendra,

Thank you for response. Unfortunately, as far as I can observe, non of the services you mentioned returns a suggested bid for a keyword.
If I'm wrong, could you please point me exactly in the direction of the relevant documentation?

I went through the Estimating Traffic guide, and this information is nowhere to be seen.

The Use case section of TrafficEstimatorService and TargetingIdeaService might help you to decide which service is the best fit for your case.

If Java is your programming language, EstimateKeywordTraffic.java and GetKeywordIdeas.java are the examples from our client libraries for the above services.
