Dear Team,
I hope you are doing well.
I am currently working on uploading image assets via API. As per my account data, I have a total of 68 campaigns in active and paused status. However, when I attempt to upload an image asset, the system prompts me to select a campaign from a dropdown menu — and it only displays 35 campaigns in the list (please see attached screenshots for reference).
I would like to understand the following:
Which campaign types support image assets?
Are there specific campaign types (e.g., Search, Display, Performance Max, App, etc.) that are eligible for image asset association?
Why are only 35 campaigns visible out of the 68 eligible (active or paused) ones?
Is there any restriction or filter being applied automatically based on campaign type, subtype, bidding strategy, or asset compatibility?
Your guidance on this matter will be very helpful for correctly managing assets across our campaigns. Please let me know if you require any additional details from my end.
Looking forward to your response.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.
Please find answers to your queries:
The campaign types supported for image assets are AppAd, AppEngagementAd, Performance Max campaign, ResponsiveDisplayAd. I would suggest you refer to this supported types guide for more information.
