TargetingIdeaService is returning NULL as SEARCH_VOLUME for KEYWORD STATS

Hi,

We are using the TargetingIdeaService in order to retrieve search volumes for specifics keywords. During this process, we found out that approx 1% of our keywords are returning NULL as a SEARCH_VOLUME and also for each one of the months from TARGETED_MONTHLY_SEARCHES. An example of keyword returning NULL is "barena shop"

How should we interpret those NULLs?
Is this equivalent of saying that the search Volume is ZERO?
Are those cases where stats about the keyword as just not being captured/stored but it may still exist some people searching for them?

Thank you for reaching out. Have you checked if the UI Keyword Planner is also returning no values for those metrics? If so, please reach out to the Google Ads Product Team here as they will be more equipped to assist you.

If it is just an API related issue, please share your complete detailed request and response logs for the call via Reply privately to author so that I can further investigate the issue. You can find information on enabling logging in the ReadMe of your client library.
