Hi!

Our agency have recently ventured into creating a tool for Google Ads using an external development team, and we have encountered an issue. We have given the developers a new manager user connected to our manager account, and we have obtained a Basic API key, but our developers are only able to access one of the accounts within the manager account with this key.

My question is, how can I give the development team API access to all the accounts within our manager account?

I'm happy to provide more information if needed.

Thanks in advance,
Erik

specify accounts in the yaml.  client_customer_id is what you are looking for

Hi Erik,

So that your external development team can access all the accounts under that new manager account (MCC), you will need to create a new set of OAuth2 credentials using an email address which has access to that new MCC.

You may also note that an approved developerToken (with basic access) only allows users to make AdWords API calls against production accounts, but does not necessarily give users permission to access or modify information within their account(s).

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks and regards,
Peter
