Removed support for GmailAd in V12: how can I retrieve past GmailAd reports?

Hi, 

As announced, creation of GmailAd was removed in Google Ads API v12.

Removing GMAIL_AD in AdType enum is fine, but it seems that corresponding GAQL fields are also removed in Google Ads API v12.

No "gmail_ad" fields in https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v12/ad_group_ad 

Is is intended change?

Can't I retrieve reporting metrics for our past GmailAd any more?

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

Yes, it is an intended change since V12 removed support for creating a new Gmail ad. You may need to use Discovery campaigns instead.

Also, yes, you will not be able to retrieve reporting metrics for your past GmailAd using ad.gmail_ad* from ad_group_ad report from Google Ads API V12 version. However, you may still be able to pull it via V11 before it is completely shutdown from the API. You may pull all your gmail ad related data on your end to have a local copy for your reference.
