Retrieve negative keywords at campaign and ad group level

Hello,

I am working on getting the negative keywords of a Shopping Campaign from the Google Ads Api and was wondering if there was a way to combine both the ad_group level and campaign level negative keywords in one query?

At the moment, I am querying from ad_Group_criterion and campaign_criterion separately and It just feels plain cavalier to have to do 2 separate queries for seemingly related information.

Is there a way to query and retrieve both my campaign level and ad group level negative keywords in one query?

On the Google ads UI, you can determine what level the keyword is at (ad group or campaign).

At the moment, I'm under the impression I need to do two separate queries  to combine this information. 

Hoping there is a better way.

By reviewing your concern, I understand that you're seeking guidance on whether there is any API resource to retrieve both campaign and ad_group level negative keywords within a single query. Kindly note that the Google Ads API currently does not support the combined retrieval of negative keywords at both the campaign and ad group levels.

I will raise a request to add this feature to be available in the Google Ads API. We cannot provide a scheduled timeline for the availability of this feature in the Google Ads API. I would recommend you to follow our Release Notes and Blog Post for future updates.
