CANNOT_ADD_EXISTING_FIELD and criterion.id

Hello All

 

  I'm using perl and I try to set bidModifier using AdWord API It's work great, But some time it throws error CANNOT_ADD_EXISTING_FIELD.

As I understand I can not ADD criterion operator for campaign that already have criterion operator I have to SET it.

But the problem is IDK how to get Criterion ID.

Question is 

1. Can I override bidModifier and How

2. If I can't how I can get Criterion ID

Hi Mike 

As you have observed, you will need to use the SET operator instead of ADD while updating the bidModifier. Have you checked out the sample to set the bidModifier? To get an idea of how to extract the criterion Id, you could check out this sample.

I have the same concern posted by mike. I am using PHP. How can I get the criterion id of the placement so that I can adjust the bid?
