Hi,

Is there a way to send conversions with monetary value, as well as conversions without gclid to Google Ads API?

We're currently using AdWords API as been suggested in this forum previously to send conversions with value, however this functionality still seems to be absent in Google Ads API. Considering that AdWords API has been announced to be phased off next April, the lack of matching features in Google Ads API at version 8 seems worrying.

Support for anonymized identifiers for IOS traffic without gclid still seems to be missing in both APIs as well. Facebook Conversions API has a way to send conversions originating from IOS traffic there, but I couldn't find anything similar in Google Ads API despite the fact that Google Ads has implemented similar modelled conversions functionality for anonymized clicks.

Please advise whether this functionality is already present in the Google Ads API or if there is a timeline for adding it. If not, perhaps there's a workaround or another recommended way to send such conversions?

Best regards,

Hi Pavel,

Thank you for reaching out. So our team can further assist you, could you elaborate on the "anonymized identifiers for IOS traffic without gclid" feature that you mentioned?

I asked because this does not appear to be supported yet in both APIs as GCLID is still a requirement. In addition, so that our team can create a feature request, we would need further details and any documentation you can provide as reference to the above.

For context, below are the APIs' documentation containing the scope of conversion management in both APIs : Best regards,
