How to query Ad data through Google Ads Api when camaign type is Discovery?

As the pictures show, I create an Ads that campaign type is Discovery through Google Web Client.

But I get it through Google Ads Api and find the type of ad_data is UNKNOWN,and not find any more information about the Ads that I just created.

So I don't know how to create this type of Ads which campaign type is Discovery throught Google Ads Api, and don't hnow how to get it.

Hi Shunzhang,

Thank you for posting your concern.

Please note that the discovery campaign is currently not fully supported in Google Ads API. With this, I am afraid that creating a discovery campaign is not possible using API and some of the data of this type of campaign could not be retrieved using API as well.

However, our team has already raised a feature request for this type of campaign to be fully supported in the Google Ads API, subject for review. For now, please follow our blog as we will post there relevant updates when it become supported.
