Hi Sai,
Thank you for reaching out.
The
View-through store visits UI column does not appear to have a direct API equivalent metric / column at this moment. I have checked both in the
campaign report as well as in the
metrics documentation and the closest possible would be the
metrics.view_through_conversions_from_location_asset_store_visits. These, however, are based on an Asset based location.
Digging further, I came across this
article where in its
Differences between store visits and view-through store visits section it states that :
- Depending on the network and types of campaigns you’re running, there are 2 types of store visits that may appear in your Google Ads account: click-driven and view-driven. Click-driven store visits are tracked under the “Store Visits” column, while view-driven store visits (store visits driven by viewable impressions) are tracked under the “View-Through Store Visits” column. If your account reports view-through store visits, they won’t be included in the “All Conversions” column by default. Instead, view-through store visits will be included in the “View-through conversions” column.
Following the information from the above, the campaign report's
metrics.view_through_conversions should then contain the said
View-Through Store Visits.
However, seeing that a dedicated column is available in the Google Ads UI, our team can raise a feature request, subject for review, for this metrics field's addition in the API's reports. To help raise the said feature request, could you also add your complete use case so that we may also pass this along?
Best regards,
