Delay between adgroup creation and keywords insertion (via API), does it affect performance?

Hi,

delay between adgroup creation and bulk keywords insertion (via API), does it affect performance? Seems like campaigns are sitting without doing anything if this delay is more than 5-6 hours.

Hi,

Can you confirm if you are creating the ad groups and keywords in bulk via BatchJobService? If you can confirm that you are using this service, then the team is currently looking into this issue regarding delays.

In regards to performance, if the campaign has no ad groups and criteria (e.g. keywords) yet, then it can't affect the performance of your campaigns. This being said, campaigns with no ads/keywords will not generate performance statistics until the ads/keywords that will trigger the statistics are created.
