Target Impression Share "Bidding Strategy Type" as UNKNOWN in API

Hi guys,

I'm trying to pull BiddingStrategyType in a Campaign Performance Report, but the campaigns that I have running on "Target Impression Share" are returning a "--" or "UNKNOWN" value. 

I was checking the API docs and it turns out the strategy type is not available (see here). 

Does anyone know if we can expect an API update to include this? Thanks!

Thank you for reaching out. As explained in this blog post, Target Impression Share is not supported in AdWords API. If you need to get this targeting type, you must migrate to Google Ads API.

You are correct. Since Google Ads API is currently in Beta, we do not recommend setting it up for production use. You can keep an eye on our Developer Blog for more information on future releases.
