Hi Lin,

Thanks for reaching out. You can adjust your Performance Max campaign final URL expansion settings in the API with url_expansion_opt_out.

Hi, Matt,

Maybe I haven't expressed it clearly, what I want to understand is,
'Send traffic to the most relevant URLs on your site' function, and add the specified landing page rules. But I didn't find an API for adding URL rules on the official website documentation. Excuse me, do you currently support this functional interface?

We currently does not support said functional interface where adding of exclude URLs as shown in UI. However, I have created a feature request on your behalf. Please note that this will be subject for review and for now, you may keep an eye on our blog for any update or announcements. Also, you may find here for serving URL Expansion Rules.

Thanks for your reply, now I have a problem with the edit assets function of ' Performance Max campaigns  ': because assets do not support delete or modify operations, such as when editing TextAsset or ImageAsset, the api requires these resources to have a minimum length limit, then, only Can I remove an assetGroupAsset and then add an assetGroupAsset? Or is there any other way to edit the assetGroup?

Could you elaborate on what you wish to achieve with asset groups? In addition, could you confirm if you are indeed performing an edit via the UI? If yes, I would recommend that you reach out instead to the Google Ads Product support team, via this link, for further guidance.

In the API, you should be able to update asset groups using the AssetGroupService.

Hi Lin,

I have an update for you on setting landing rules for Performance Max campaigns.

URL expansion exclusions on Performance Max campaigns are modeled as WebPage criteria, excludable at Campaign level. These should already be available in the Google Ads API as of v9. See https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/latest/WebpageInfo
