Hi,

When I create a Google Ads sub-account under our MCC account it gets suspended when created via the API. When I do the exact same steps manually via the Google Ads interface it account won't get suspended.

The steps that are being done are;
 - Creating the Google Ads account
 - Request account linking between Merchant Center and Google Ads
 - Create Google Ads budget
 - Create Google Ads campaign
 - Create Google Ads ad group
 - Create Google Ads ad group ad
 - Create Google Ads ad group criterion

The reason for the suspension is `Suspicious payment activity`. The account get suspended once when we add a Billing profile. And this only happens to accounts created via the API and not accounts being created manually. Same payment card is used in both cases.

Hi Andre,

So that our team may take a closer look at the issue, could you provide the customer ID of the suspended account and also the request and response logs, along with the request-id, generated when you created the said account via the API?

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.

In addition, could you confirm if the Suspicious payment activity error was returned in the API's response? If this was not returned in the API response logs, then I would also recommend that you reach out instead to the Google Ads Product Support team, via this link, so they can investigate on their end what lead to the account's suspension.

Best regards,
