How to do date filter while fetching metrics on Adgroup

Hi,

I want to apply filter on adgroup metrics on date bases . I can see in documentation it is possible to apply filter on date bases using Segments.date field.

Here my doubt is, If I give 2018-04-17 in my query, do I get that metrics of particular date or total metrics of adgroup from Campaign start date to this date?

How do I get metrics of a period/ multiple days? (If above returns metrics of that particular date)

Thank you for reaching out to us. I see that you have concerns on reporting date ranges. You can see here for more on specifying custom date ranges and how to pull metrics from multiple periods/days. If you give 2018-04-17 in your query, you'll receive metrics that are only from that day. Let me know if you have further questions.
