Landing page view

Hey everyone!

I'm trying to use landing_page_view report in Google Ads API

I'm using this query:

SELECT

    landing_page_view.unexpanded_final_url,

    metrics.cost_micros,

    metrics.clicks,

    metrics.impressions

FROM landing_page_view

WHERE segments.date = '2021-03-01'

But the total result in cost and clicks that I see using this report is not the same as the total result for my account if I check the total campaign costs (not in this report). And the difference is really big. about 30%

The same thing I've found in report on ads.google.com.

Could you please tell me what is the reason for this difference? and maybe I can find the total sum in this report somehow?

If you are seeing these discrepancies in the UI as well, then the issue is not API specific. I recommend reaching out to the product team so they can assist you.

Since you mentioned that you are seeing some discrepancy using the Ads API, which is to be expected according to the docs, then for us to investigate further data discrepancies between AdWords API and Ads API, could you please provide us with the following details below?

• Provide XML format report definition or the complete AWQL containing date filters
• As for Google Ads API, complete request and response logs with request ID and request header generated on your end
• Sample comparison of the Ads API and AdWords API where we can see the missing records
