Sandbox viewer/editor

Hi all,

One of the biggest obstacles when developing against AdWords API is
inability to view/edit sandbox content using some GUI. If anybody
needs it, we have developed GUI application (PPC Manager) that can be used for that purpose:
http://www.ppcma.com/

In order to run it, you need Windows machine with .NET Framework.
PPC Manager will work with sandbox of any size
and will show campaigns, ad groups, ads and criteria.

Let me know if you find our app useful, or if you
have any ideas for improvement.

Hi All,

Additionally there is an open source application called the Sandbox
Account Viewer that allows you to view the raw data from your sandbox
account:

http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-java/wiki/SandboxAccountViewer

It doesn't support editing of the account, but it can be a good way to
visualize the data returned by the API.

Hi Eric,

I just tried to use the Sandbox Account Viewer, but can not login. I
tried using my Google Account which is connected to MCC. I tried the e-
mail address which I used to get my developer token. I tried to use my
own client-ID (MCC client-ID) and I tried a client-ID of one my
customers. All combinations generate a Authentication Error_customer
not found.

Could you provide any documentation online, and for usability in the
application, to help noobs like me to decide what the application
needs?

In a PM I will sent you the two used e-mail adresses and client-ID's.

Hi Arthur,

The Sandbox Account Viewer works against the sandbox environment,
which doesn't use production credentials or accounts. More
information about the sandbox environment is available here:

but it is failing.

The tool is working fine for production accounts when launched from
the cmd line using
java -jar sandbox-account-viewer-1.2.0.jar -enable-production
and I type in one of our clients' Client ID.

What I am supposed to type into the Client ID field when running as
sandbox?

Hi Paul,

You have to provide client_1+youremail to client_5+youremail when
connecting to the sandbox.
