Attribute an installation to a particular Google Ad campaign

We are a third party attribution provider trying to integrate with Google Ads.

To attribute an installation to Google Ads we are testing Google Play Install referrer.

But it only gives us gclid, conv, ai and adsplayload and no information about the clicked campaign, adgroup, ...

Also we are not sure if should use Google Ad client libs to call Campaign Performance Reports for this!

I want to ask about the correct method standard attribution providers like Adjust, Branch, Appsflyer do this!

We will not be able to pass a comment on the third party tools used for testing. To get started with Google Ads API, you may refer to this guide on how to get started. This guide on how to make an API call should be helpful. Once you have the account setup, you can check the Reporting guide to run reports against your account.
