Hi, I recieved the following row in my keyword report through API:

<row date="2007-04-29" campaignid="yyyyyy" campaign="Google Base
Campaign" adgroupid="yyyyyy" adgroup="blah" keywordid="3000004"
keyword="Total - auto-keywords" kwType="BroadMatch" kwStatus=""
keywordMinCpc="" adwordsType="Search Only" maxCpc="" kwDestUrl=""
agStatus="Enabled"
campStatus="Active" imps="yyyy" clicks="yyy" ctr="yyy" cpc="yyyy"
cpm="yyyyy" cost="yyy" pos="yyyyyyy" conv="0" transactions="0" av
gConvValue="0.0" purchases="0" purchaseValue="0.0" leads="0"
leadValue="0.0"
signups="0" signupValue="0.0" pageviews="0" pageviewValue="0.0"></
row>

Note that I replaced the actual numbers and names with "yyyyy" etc.

Is keywordid "3000004" for adgroup that has site-targeted?

This is also the first time I saw kwType "BroadMatch". How is this
different from kwType "broad"?

Thanks.

Hi Kai,

"BroadMatch" means the same thing as "Broad."

I'm not sure I understand your first question, though, about keyword
ID 3000004. Could you please elaborate?

Thanks,

Hi, Aaron
In reports I've seen, any row with keyword id "3000000" seems to mean
that row is the statistics for content network(we can't use individual
keywords for content network, we just only use adgroups for content
network).

That's why I think keywordid "3000004" is a special ID that identifies
adgroup that target particular sites.

Yesterday, I just recieved another row of statistics with
kwSiteType="ContentChannel"

<row date="2007-05-07" campaignid="xyz" campaign="SiteMatch"
adgroupid="xyz" adgroup="some names" keywordid="xyz"
kwSite="somexyz.com >> Homepage,Top center"
kwSiteType="ContentChannel" siteKwStatus="Active" keywordMinCpc="0"
adwordsType="Content Only" maxCpc="0" kwDestUrl="somedest.com"
agStatus="Paused" campStatus="Active" imps="somenumber"
clicks="somenumber" ctr="5.405405405405405E-4" cpc="somenumber"
cpm="somenumber" cost="somenumber" pos="somenumber" conv="somenumber"
transactions="somenumber" avgConvValue="somenumber"
purchases="somenumber" purchaseValue="somenumber" leads="somenumber"
leadValue="somenumber" signups="somenumber" signupValue="somenumber"
pageviews="somenumber" pageviewValue="somenumber">
</row>

According to the adwords account UI, this adgroup has "site" as "Ad
Network". then why does google still gives me a keyword id that looks
like a valid one?

"The Attempted modification failed due to changes made concurrently by
another agent or user."

We're getting these frequently. What counts as a "concurrent change?" It
seems that browsing AdWords through the web interface might be enough to
trigger this error.
