Local Extension limit?

Hello,

Trying to create a bunch of location extensions in a campaign and every now and then some get a response of: 

'Exception: [CollectionSizeError.TOO_MANY @ operations[0].operand.matchingFunction.rhsOperand]

I guess a main question to ask is what is the limit of location extensions for a campaign? also, TOO_MANY is only referred to in consideration of ad groups, can't find the reason in relation of TOO_MANY to Location Extensions.
