Use Targeting Ideas with the test account

Hi, 

I want to use Google Adwords API for retrieving data from keyword planner as I would normally do from the AdWords UI. How can I do it? I have a test account and extracted data seems to be toy data including 'red herring' as the entry :) How to retrieve real data?

Hi Maxim,

Thank you for reaching out. The API call of the TargetingIdeaService on the test account is providing the real data. What you could do is to configure the parameters to get the best possible results. You could refer to this guide for more information.

Unfortunately, I did not read the documentation carefully. The extract below is copied from documentation

 Note: When using test accounts, the TargetingIdeaService will return dummy data.
