Accounts timing out on audience reports

Hello,

we have 2 accounts that we're unable to download any audience data for. The AWQL query times out after 40 minutes. Here is an example of 2 such AWQL queries:

SELECT CampaignId, CampaignName, AdNetworkType1, IsRestrict, Impressions, AdGroupId, AdGroupName, Clicks, Cost, Conversions, CostPerConversion, ConversionValue FROM AUDIENCE_PERFORMANCE_REPORT WHERE CampaignStatus=ENABLED AND AdGroupStatus=ENABLED DURING LAST_30_DAYS

SELECT CampaignId, CampaignName, AdGroupId, AdGroupName, AdGroupStatus, Criteria, BidModifier, IsRestrict, Impressions, Clicks, Cost, Conversions FROM AUDIENCE_PERFORMANCE_REPORT WHERE CampaignStatus=ENABLED AND AdGroupStatus=ENABLED DURING LAST_30_DAYS

The affected accounts are:
655-133-6107
455-818-4618

Based on the spend, it doesn't even seem to be large accounts. Is there anything broken within those accounts internally by any chance or is there anything we can do to get the data?

Hi Ales,

I'd recommend adding a filter to exclude any audiences with no impressions. I didn't see anything internally that would cause issues other than the size of the report. If this filter doesn't help, please let me know.

Hello,

I have tried (although by default reports don't contain Impressions=0 unless explicitly turned on) and still the same outcome.

This is the exact AWQL:
SELECT CampaignId, CampaignName, AdGroupId, AdGroupName, AdGroupStatus, Criteria, BidModifier, IsRestrict, Impressions, Clicks, Cost, Conversions FROM AUDIENCE_PERFORMANCE_REPORT WHERE CampaignStatus=ENABLED AND AdGroupStatus=ENABLED AND Impressions>0 DURING 20201207, 20210105

Hi Ales,

Thank you for providing these details. I work with Anthony and allow me to assist you for now.

Upon checking the Audiences tab of both the 655-133-6107 and 455-818-4618 accounts, I can see that each has at least 10,000 audiences. Most, if not all, appear to be at the campaign level as well.

Moving forward, I was also able to replicate the issue on my end wherein the report generation appears to be experiencing a timeout. That being said, I would recommend that you further segment your report and apply more filters to break down the report and avoid the said issue.

Should the issue still persist, please let us know so we can investigate further.
