hi
After generating the gclid, immediately search the click view to see if the gclid matches the advertising account. If you cannot find any matching information immediately, you can search again after a day. I want to know the reason because it takes some time to generate the click view and cannot be searched immediately

We are currently using Google Ads SQL (SELECT click_view.gclid, campaign.id, campaign.name, campaign.final_url_suffix, campaign.start_date, campaign.end_date, campaign.tracking_url_template FROM click_view WHERE customer.id = 'xxx' and segments.date = '2025-04-13' and click_view.gclid = 'xxx') to query the click_view.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

Please note that performance data isn’t available instantly, and some metrics are only updated once a day. Recent account data may not be reflected immediately.

In most cases, your account statistics (such as clicks, conversions, and impressions) are delayed by less than 3 hours. Conversions attributed using attribution models other than “Last click” are typically delayed up to 15 hours.

For more information, you can refer to this help center article link.

Thanks,
