to AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum

Hi Team,

I am using the recommendation service in the API recently. I want to get the responsive_search_ad data in the TEXT_AD type, but the returned result is always empty. The advertising account I use does have data on the Google Ads UI. What should I do, please help me.

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! To get recommendations via API, you will have to use the GetRecommendation() method within RecommendationService with a filter on "type = TEXT_AD". I see that you are receiving blank results. Can you please provide the query you used along with your customerClientId? Additionally, if you have a screenshot of the UI of what you are looking to pull via API, please provide this as well. You can send this information via the Reply privately to author button.
